Myriad Foods Chopped Ham is a pressed pork ham loaf in the Cantonese and Vietnamese style, finely emulsified into a dense, rosy block with a clean, savory flavor. The texture is smooth and firm rather than springy, so it holds a clean slice and carries the gentle saltiness of cured pork in every bite.

Thaw it, then slice thin and lay it cold into a bánh mì with pickled carrot, cucumber, and cilantro. You can also pan-fry slices until the edges crisp and serve them over jasmine rice, dice it into fried rice, or set it alongside a steamed egg custard for a simple Cantonese supper.
