Myriad Foods Jumbo Pork & Vegetable Buns

These are the large-format version of the classic steamed pork bun, each one roughly the size of your palm and meant to be a meal on its own. The pillowy white wheat dough is soft and slightly sweet, wrapped around a savory filling of seasoned ground pork and finely chopped vegetables like cabbage and onion.

Steam the frozen buns over boiling water for about 12 to 15 minutes until the dough is fluffy and the center is piping hot. One jumbo bun makes a satisfying breakfast or quick lunch, and they pair well with chili oil, black vinegar, or a bowl of congee on the side.

Sold in several pack sizes to fit any household, from a single 5 oz bun up to bulk bags of 10 or 15 pieces. Because they are larger than standard 4-packs, plan a little extra steaming time. Keep them frozen until ready to cook, and steam straight from frozen for the best texture.
