Quê Hương Premium Frozen Purple Cooked Corn
Quê Hương Premium Frozen Purple Cooked Corn is whole-ear purple glutinous corn, harvested and fully cooked before freezing so the kernels keep their deep violet color and naturally chewy, slightly sweet bite. This is the dense, sticky-textured corn prized across Vietnam, far heartier than ordinary yellow sweet corn, with an earthy aroma that comes through the moment it warms.
Because each ear arrives already cooked, you only need to reheat it. Steam the thawed cobs for a few minutes, or wrap and microwave until hot, then eat them plain in hand the way street vendors serve bắp nếp. The chewy kernels are also lovely shaved off and stirred into chè bắp, sweet coconut corn pudding, or simmered into a warm corn drink.
This premium pack is sold as 3 ears per bag, available either bare (RQ927) or with the protective husks left on (RQ928), packed 30 bags per case. Keep the cobs frozen at 0°F until you are ready to heat them. Inside is simply purple glutinous corn that has been cooked and quick-frozen, with nothing added.
